THE HAMILTON-GIBSON WOMEN'S PROJECT IS HOLDING AUDITIONS FOR FOUR SHORT PLAYS TO BE PRESENTED SATURDAY, OCT. 1 AT 7:30 P.M. AND SUNDAY, OCT. 2 AT 2:30 P.M. AT THE WAREHOUSE THEATRE IN WELLSBORO. WOMEN OF ALL AGES CAN AUDITION SUNDAY, JULY 24 BETWEEN 2 AND 3:30 P.M. OR TUESDAY, JULY 26 BETWEEN 5 AND 6:30 P.M. IN THE WAREHOUSE THEATRE. TO BE CAST ARE A TOTAL OF 12 ROLES IN FOUR PLAYS. THERE ARE ROLES FOR ONE TEEN, NINE WOMEN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 20 AND 50 AND TWO OLDER WOMEN.

CHILDREN PARTICIPATE IN MEMORABLE BIBLE-LEARNING ACTIVITIES, SING SONGS, PLAY TEAM-BUILDING GAMES, MAKE AND DIG INTO YUMMY TREATS, EXPERIENCE ONE OF A KIND BIBLE  ADVENTURES, COLLECT BIBLE MEMORY BUDDIES TO REMIND THEM OF JESUS' LOVE, AND TEST OUT SCIENCY-FUN GISMOS THEY'LL TAKE HOME AND PLAY WITH ALL SUMMER LONG. CAVE QUEST WILL RUN FROM JULY 25-29TH FROM 9AM TO 11:30AM EACH DAY, AND IS FOR ALL KIDS FROM 3 TO 12 YEARS OF AGE. BETWEEN NOON AND 3 P.M. SATURDAY, JULY 30, A CLASSIC CAR CRUISE IN WILL BE ON CRAFTON STREET IN WELLSBORO, NEXT TO CITIZENS AND NORTHERN BANK.  SPONSORING THIS CRUISE IN IS THE SHERWOOD MOTEL. THE DRIVER OF EACH CLASSIC CAR, TRUCK AND MOTORCYCLE THAT ATTENDS WILL BE GIVEN A FREE METAL DASH PLATE AS A MEMENTO. FEATURED ON THE JULY 30 DASH PLATE IS A PHOTO OF A BALD EAGLE SITTING ON A BRANCH, THE SHERWOOD MOTEL’S LOGO AND THE CHAMBER’S WEBSITE ADDRESS. HOSTED BY THE WELLSBORO AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE’S RETAIL COMMITTEE, THE CRUISE IN OFFERS FUN NOT ONLY FOR THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE BUT ALSO FOR THOSE WHO ENJOY LOOKING AT AND LEARNING ABOUT CLASSIC CARS.

Monday, Aug. 8 From 7:45-9:45 P.M., Curt Weinhold, A Pennsylvania Wilds Juried Artisan, Is Offering A Two-Hour Nightscapes Photography workshop At Cherry Springs State Park At 4639 Cherry Springs Road In Coudersport. The Park Is 11.8 Miles Or About 20 Minutes From Galeton Via west Branch Road And 15.1 Miles Or About 21 Minutes From Coudersport Using Route 44.  Registered Participants Will Meet At The Visitor Parking Lot By The Kiosk For The First Portion Of The Program In The Park. From There, Participants May travel To Two Or More Locations Near Cherry Springs So Personal Vehicles Are Required.  The Fee Is $35. Payment Is Due Upon Arrival At The Program By Check Or Cash Only. HAMILTON-GIBSON PRODUCTIONS IS HOSTING A ONE-WEEK WORKSHOP WHERE PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN KEY ELEMENTS OF IMPROVISATIONAL COMEDY. THE WORKSHOP IS FREE. PRE-REGISTER BY FRIDAY, AUG. 5. PARTICIPANTS WILL MEET NIGHTLY AT 6:30 P.M. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, AUG. 8-12 AT THE WAREHOUSE THEATRE ON CENTRAL AVENUE IN WELLSBORO. EACH EVENING, THE GROUP WILL LEARN SOME IMPROV TECHNIQUES, PLAY GAMES, AND CREATE A MINI-SKIT USING THAT DAY’S LESSONS.
